No WinRAR? No problem

RAR is a proprietary format, so Windows, macOS and most file managers can't open it out of the box. Password-protected RAR files

Encrypted archives are detected automatically and you'll be prompted for the password. Everything — including the password — stays in your browser. That matters with RAR archives in particular: uploading a private archive and its password to some website's server defeats the point of encrypting it.

Is it really private?

What about .cbr comic books?

Multi-part archives

Split archives (.part1.rar, .part2.rar, or old-style .r00/.r01) aren't supported yet, since all volumes have to be read together. Single-file archives of any size work — the practical limit is your device's memory.
