How to convert images to a PowerPoint presentation (free)

Fit inside or fill the slide?

Fit inside slide scales each photo to fit entirely on the slide, centred, keeping its proportions — nothing is cropped. Fill slide stretches the photo edge to edge and crops the overflow, giving a clean full-bleed look for photo decks. Either way the image itself is embedded at its original resolution, so it stays sharp when you present.

Which formats work?

JPG and PNG are embedded directly with no re-compression. WebP, GIF and BMP are supported too — they're re-drawn as PNG in your browser first, because PowerPoint itself doesn't open WebP reliably. Animated GIFs contribute a single frame.

Will it open in Keynote and Google Slides?

Yes. The output is a standard Office Open XML .pptx file that opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice Impress. Each slide contains one picture, which you can move, resize or caption afterwards like any other slide object.

Is there a limit on the number of images?

No hard limit — everything runs on your machine, so it's only bound by your device's memory. Decks of a few hundred photos are fine; just note the .pptx will be roughly the combined size of the images inside it.
