Merge ZIP files into one
Drop several ZIPs and save one archive with everything in it — Google Takeout parts, multi-part downloads, or any set of ZIPs. Files are copied as they are, not recompressed, and nothing is uploaded.
How to merge ZIP files
- Drop all the ZIP files onto the box above. You can add more in several goes, and remove any with the ✕.
- Choose whether the contents should be combined into one tree, which is right for Google Takeout and other multi-part exports, or kept apart with one folder per ZIP.
- Click Merge ZIPs and save the combined archive.
Fast, and nothing is changed
Merging copies every file exactly as it is stored in its ZIP. Nothing is decompressed or compressed again, so a set of multi-gigabyte Takeout archives is combined about as fast as your disk can save the result, the files keep their exact contents, and password-protected entries stay encrypted with their original password.
Folders and name clashes
Folders that appear in several ZIPs, such as Takeout/Google Photos, are merged into one. When two ZIPs contain a file at the same path, both are kept and the later one is renamed with a number, for example notes (2).txt. Tick put each ZIP in its own folder to keep every archive's contents separate instead.
Only ZIP files
This tool merges ZIP archives. To include a RAR or 7z, convert it first with RAR to ZIP or 7z to ZIP. A ZIP that will not open needs ZIP Repair first. And if your parts are named .zip.001, .z01 or similar, they are one split archive rather than separate ZIPs: open them with Join Split Files.
